Chunky Vegetable
Tomato Sauce
1/2 Jar FR No Salt Added Pasta Sauce
1/2 Yellow onion, diced
1/2 Red bell pepper, chopped
1/2 Green pepper, chopped
1 Large red tomato, chopped
2 Cloves garlic, crushed or pressed
1/4 Cup fresh chopped cilantro
Splash olive oil
Heat the olive oil in a pan and then add in the onion.
Heat the onion until almost translucent and then add the garlic,
peppers and tomato.
Turn down the heat to low-medium and sauté for 3 - 4 minutes.
In a separate pot, begin heating the tomato sauce and once
heated, turn down to low-medium and add in the
vegetable mixture. Add the fresh cilantro and stir.
When heated, add to your noodles.
Serves 2 - 3.
