Along comes Woodstock Farms Organic Smooth/Unsalted Peanut Butter that has 0mg of sodium and a hefty but not-too-hefty price tag of $5.99. Found in my grocer's organic section, this peanut butter has a crunchy version available as well.

Smooth indeed! This is the kind of peanut butter that sticks to the roof of your mouth and gets in your teeth but you don't want it to go away. It has a mild flavoring definitely influenced by the absence of salt and the appearance of crushed peanuts - not like the name brands with their singular orange coloring. This one looks organic and tastes great.

I love Woodstock Farms Organic Smooth/Unsalted Peanut Butter in a traditional peanut butter and jelly sandwich. If you use a 0mg sodium jelly and pair with low sodium bread, you can potentially get away with a light lunch for less than 400 mg of sodium.
